These Terms of Service apply to purchases made through the BeLocal Collection online store operated by ADAPT Inc.

By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms together with the policies made available through this store.

2. Products and product information

We make reasonable efforts to describe and photograph products accurately.

Colours and appearance may vary slightly depending on lighting, photography and the customer's display.

Some products may be produced in limited quantities or may not be restocked after they sell out.

Where a product uses natural materials, textiles, printing, dyeing or individually produced components, reasonable variations may occur where inherent to the product.

We do not represent a product as handmade, made in Japan, antique, traditional, remade, kimono-related or one-of-one unless this is specifically stated in the relevant product information.

3. Prices

Product prices are displayed on the relevant product page in the currency shown on the storefront.

Shipping charges are shown during checkout.

For international orders, import duties, destination taxes, customs charges and similar fees may be charged separately unless checkout expressly states otherwise.

Where applicable, those destination charges are the customer's responsibility.

4. Orders

Submitting an order does not guarantee that the order has been accepted.

We may cancel or refuse an order where reasonably necessary, including where:

• a product is no longer available;

• inventory information is incorrect;

• payment cannot be completed;

• an order appears fraudulent or abusive;

• shipping to the destination is unavailable; or

• fulfilling the order would violate applicable law.

If we cancel an order after payment has been collected, the applicable payment will be refunded.

5. Payment

Available payment methods are displayed during checkout.

Payments are processed through Shopify and supported payment providers.

6. Shipping and delivery

Orders normally dispatch within 3–4 working days after the order is confirmed unless otherwise stated.

Tracking is included with all orders.

Carrier delivery estimates are not guaranteed. Customs clearance, weather, transportation disruption and other circumstances outside our reasonable control may cause delays.

7. International orders

Customers are responsible for ensuring that products may lawfully be imported into their destination country.

Import duties, destination taxes, customs processing charges and similar fees may be payable separately unless checkout expressly states otherwise.

8. Returns and refunds

We do not generally accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, incorrect size selection, colour preference or other customer-preference reasons, except where applicable law provides a mandatory right to do so.

If we send the wrong product or an order arrives materially damaged, please contact belocalcollection@gmail.com within 7 calendar days of delivery.

Nothing in these Terms limits consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.

9. Product availability

Our collection changes regularly.

Products may sell out without notice and some products may not be restocked.

A product shown as sold out cannot be purchased unless it is subsequently restocked.

10. Intellectual property

Unless otherwise stated, content created for this website, including original text, graphics, photographs, designs and BeLocal Collection or Fubutsushi branding, is protected by applicable intellectual-property rights.

Third-party trademarks, artwork and other protected material remain the property of their respective rights holders.

Nothing on this website grants permission to reproduce or commercially use protected content without appropriate authorization.

11. Prohibited use

You must not use this website:

• for unlawful or fraudulent purposes;

• to interfere with the operation or security of the store;

• to attempt unauthorized access to systems or accounts;

• to transmit malicious code; or

• in a way that infringes another person's rights.

12. Website accuracy and availability

We aim to keep the website accurate and available but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation.

We may correct errors, update information or change website content and product availability where reasonably necessary.

13. Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so is prohibited by applicable law.

To the extent permitted by law, ADAPT Inc. is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from circumstances outside its reasonable control.
